Simon's POV
I couldn't take my eyes off her.
She moved delicately, her fingers deftly working to set my fractured bone in place. Her brows were furrowed in concentration, lips slightly parted as she murmured to herself.
She didn't even realize she was speaking aloud.
"Damn stubborn Alpha. Who refuses anesthesia for a bone repair? Just let me do my job and stop being difficult…" she mumbled under her breath, completely unaware of my sharp hearing.
I smirked. She really doesn't care that I'm the Alpha.
That was rare.
Most people bowed, trembled, or tried to impress me. But Aisha? She was utterly unaffected.
A small part of me found that infuriating.
The rest of me? Intrigued.
She wasn't like any doctor I had met before. There was something genuine in the way she moved, something unshaken by my status.
Even now, as Charlie stormed into the room, his boots slamming against the floor, she didn't even flinch.
"Alpha, what the hell is going on?" Charlie demanded, his gaze flicking from my leg
