Chapter 242 Why Would I Be
When Leslie opened the door to the CEO's office, he kept his steps much lighter than usual.
He walked up to Tristan's office desk and reported in a low voice, "Mr. and Mrs. Ashworth have already been kindly asked to leave the premises, Mr. Leigh. After causing a ruckus downstairs for a short while, they left."
Tristan didn't stop reviewing documents, but he did look up at the person sitting on the couch not far from him.
Cressida was leaning back against the couch and flipping through a design magazine. She didn't even blink when she heard Leslie's report, as if the two people who'd been making a scene downstairs had nothing to do with her.
Leslie quietly excused himself from the office.
Tristan put down his pen, stood up, and rounded the wide office desk to sit down by Cressida's side.
He didn't say a word. Instead, he just took the magazine from her, closed it, and set it aside.
It was only then that Cressida turned to look at him and asked in confusion, "What's the matter?"
