Around noon, Calliope Godfrey had just cleared an entire shelf of Lego sets for Leo when her phone suddenly rang.
It was an unknown number.
She answered, and a composed yet familiar male voice came through.
"Calliope, it’s Uncle Charles."
Her hand paused mid-air.
It was Lucien Sterling’s father, Charles Sterling.
"Come have a chat with your uncle. I’m at Hollow Valley Café."
She tightened her grip on the phone.
